Use the printed date
The pack should show a packing or manufacturing reference and a best-before or expiry date where applicable. Do not replace that information with a general claim from another seller.
Keep the jar clean and sealed
Use a clean, dry serving tool. Water, food residue and repeated exposure can affect the product after opening.
Texture can change with temperature
Resin can soften or become firmer as temperature changes. Texture alone does not prove that a product is fresh, expired, original or fake.
When not to use it
Do not use a product with damaged packaging, unexplained contamination, an unreadable batch/date or a smell and appearance that concern you. Contact the seller for batch-specific guidance.
